Festival of Cultures - Childers July, 2009: This year was Childers 14th year of the Childers Cultures Festival and our 4th year of being a part of the festivities. There was an absolute Hive of action for all that attended, speaking of hives, staff member Barb was dressed as a Bee to promote our Ginger and Honey and Honey Roast Flavours' (see picture) and Meredith dressed as a Mexican promoting our ever popular flavour Mexican Delight which tied in nicely with this years theme “Rumba around the Region”. Meredith even got involved with the “Singing Chefs” dancing up a storm. It’s a great day out for young and old. Mark it next year’s calendar, the last Sunday in July. It’s EKKA Time 6th - 15th August, 2009 That’s right the Peanut Van will be appearing at the Ekka! Find us this year in the most popular Woolworths Pavilion, with the absolute best food, wine and other items that Australia has to offer.There will be displays, demonstrations and information for one and all. Rob will be on stage with Peter Howard at 2pm Wednesday 12th in the Woolworths pavilion promoting and talking about his passion and ours too the Great Aussie Peanut. You may have seen “The Hairy One” (Rob) on channel 7 for the happy birthday Qld promotion. We will also be demonstrating how we make our 100% natural peanut paste. Footy Fever July, 2009: A big thanks to all that came in and saw us at our 4 locations during state of origin weeks to stock up on there favourite flavours for the big game. And to all customers that got to pop a balloon for a chance to win a prize, thank you for creating a fun day for our staff. Sadly we almost sold out of our Maroon Stubby holders congratulations Qld and well done NSW for a great game!!
