us for more than four decades and we'd be nothing without you. Truly.
We opened our business online to extend and improve our customer
service (especially for our distant customers). But other than that, nothing's
changed.
We're still the same people you've always known and our policies are
just the same too. Here's what they are:
Privacy Policy
If you join our mailing list or order products from us (either online or
in the real world), any personal information we might gather like your name,
phone number, address, credit card details etc goes nowhere else except
into our own files. We have never - and will never - pass this data on to
another company.
Anti-Spam Policy
Like most people on the Net, we're really affronted by spam and refuse
to deal with any company that employs it. We never use spam to promote
our business. And if you subscribe to our online mailing list we promise
we'll never use that as an excuse to spam you either!
We only send out mailings a couple of times a year (generally
4 to 6 weeks before seasonal holidays like Easter and Christmas) to let our
customers stock up in plenty of time for special events or because
we have a genuine special offer. You can remove yourself from our
mailing list at any time too, just by asking us! We'll erase your email address
from our mailing list on the spot.
Security Policy
You can order from us online or offline, as you prefer.
If you order online all transactions are carried out through our
secure SSL server. We acknowledge receipt of all online orders by
email (usually within 24 to 48 hours) and your order will be packed and shipped
to you promptly. Your actual order details are erased from our SSL
server as soon as we retrieve them - not because it's insecure, but just
so that you can have 100% peace of mind.
If you order offline you can do so by phone, fax, mail or even by
visiting us in person at any of our Peanut Van stores in Kingaroy, Childers,
Chermside or Aussie World at Palmwoods on the Sunshine Coast. And you can
pay us by cash, credit card, cheque or money order as you prefer.
All orders are dispatched by Australia Post and will usually arrive
at your home or office within 24 to 48 hours of being shipped. All our dispatched
orders are covered by insurance which can be claimed in the unlikely
event of non-delivery.
Returns Policy
If you're ever unhappy about anything you buy from The Peanut
Van we want to know about it! We've built our reputation on supplying
first class quality peanut products to the world and our good reputation
is very important to us.
So if you do have a problem, simply return the goods to us in their original
packaging for a prompt and courteous refund of your purchase price.
Export Policy
All prices quoted on our site are in Australian dollars but were happy
to ship orders anywhere in the world.
But because postage can vary quite a lot depending on where you might be
and how heavy your order is, please
email
us for a quote on international orders. We'll usually be able to
get back to you with a firm all-up price (including shipping and insurance)
within one or two working days.
As with domestic orders, we ship all international orders by Australia
Post. In most cases they'll arrive at most US or European destinations
within 7 to 10 days of leaving our hands - sometimes even sooner.
Similarly - just as we do with our domestic customers - we'll advise you
by email when we send your order so that you know it's on its way.
