Ingredients:

2 cups sifted
flour

2 teaspoons
baking powder

1 teaspoon
salt

1/4 to 1/2
cup of sugar

1.25 cups
milk

2 tablespoons
fat (you can use oil if you prefer)

1 egg

1 cup chopped
peanuts
Method:

Sift the dry
ingredients together
-
Work the fat
(or oil) into the mixture

Beat the egg
with the milk, and stir into the mixture

Finally, add
the chopped peanuts to the mix and blend everything together

Pour the mix
into a lightly greased loaf pan and bake in a moderate oven (350o
F or 180o C) for about an hour
